The Planning, Profitability, and Allocations track is your go-to destination for submissions centered around Planning and Allocation solutions.

Planning-related Submissions: Here, we encourage you to share your experiences with custom applications, prebuilt module-enabled frameworks, tips, tricks, and innovative uses of both new and existing functionality in the realm of Planning. This is your opportunity to showcase your creative solutions and lessons learned in the planning and budgeting processes.

Profitability and Allocations-related Submissions: In this track, we focus on how organizations have effectively implemented and harnessed the power of PCM (Profitability and Cost Management) and Enterprise PCM. Regardless of whether these applications were designed to support financial close processes or planning and budgeting processes, we want to hear about your experiences. Share insights on the release of EPCM,  complex versus simple allocations, and any creative solutions you've employed in your journey. Your expertise in these areas is invaluable to our community.

 

EPM - Close and Consolidations
Within the Financial Close track, submissions should focus on how Oracle empowers and sustains the fundamental processes necessary for a streamlined, accurate, and dependable record-to-report procedure. Whether your focus lies in account reconciliation with transaction matching, financial consolidation, tax provisioning, the intricacies of last-mile reporting, or the meticulous management of the close process, this track is your comprehensive resource.

Key areas covered in the Financial Close track include Financial Management (HFM) and Financial Close & Consolidation (FCC). We also delve into the nuances of Account Reconciliation (ARM/ARCS) and Tax Provisioning (HTP/TRCS). Notably, we embrace third-party applications integrated into the broader record-to-report process, making this track a holistic exploration of the financial close process.

 

EPM - EPM Platform and Strategy
The EPM Platform and Strategy track is a new track, this track is where EPM projects and functionalities unite across the diverse EPM product spectrum. Submissions to this track should focus on:

Platform focused content will center on functionality that is available across the entire EPM platform for example: web forms, approvals, Smart View, Calculation Manager, Pipeline, security, OCI, IAM, and more. Share your insights and expertise on how these platform features are harnessed to amplify the EPM experience.

Embrace the synergy of multiple EPM products within your projects. Submissions that focus on the complexities of multi-product integrations, cross-product functionalities, and how these collaborations enhance EPM excellence live in this track.

The EPM Platform and Strategy track is where submissions related to project strategies should be submitted. Share your experiences and lessons learned regarding management strategies, including training, monthly updates, administration techniques, project team management, and enterprise projects from on-premises to the cloud. Share your transformation stories, experiences, and the tactical maneuvers that chart the course of financial evolution.

This track also welcomes submissions that don't neatly align with the confines of individual EPM tracks. It's the refuge for innovative ideas, unorthodox perspectives, and the extraordinary stories that defy categorization.

 

EPM - Master Data and Integrations
The Master Data and Integrations track is dedicated to shedding light on the critical aspects of EPM processes that revolve around data integration solutions, master data management, data governance, and the pivotal role of process automation.

Submissions within this track should delve into the intricacies of data integration strategies, configurations, best practices, and innovations that streamline EPM data loads.

Master data management and data governance play a vital role in maintaining the integrity and consistency of data across the organization, as well as the processes to govern and improve data quality. For Oracle EPM, it helps manage data entities, chart of accounts, cost centers & departments, product data, employee records, and more, to ensure that the data used for reporting and decision-making is accurate and reliable. Submissions should explore the challenges and solutions in master data management, sharing experiences and insights that can benefit others in their data governance efforts.

Lastly, the track delves into the realm of process automation, focusing on how automation technologies can modernize EPM processes. Whether through the use of automation tools, REST API or EPM Automate scripting, EPM pipelines, or workflow optimization, submissions are encouraged to share experiences, tips, and successful implementations that have optimized EPM process automation and driven efficiency.

 

EPM - Reporting
The EPM Reporting track is the headquarters for all things EPM reporting. This track is dedicated to exploring the dynamic landscape of reporting solutions and strategies that empower organizations with actionable insights, strategic direction, and the ability to respond effectively to the evolving business environment.  Submissions should focus on various reporting solutions, data visualizations, self-service reporting, reporting governance, reporting performance, internal vs external reporting, dashboards, management vs legal vs operational reporting etc.

 

EPM - Essbase and Freeform
The Essbase and Freeform track is the epicenter for all submissions dedicated to Essbase and Freeform EPM solutions. This track celebrates the technical depth and practical application of Essbase while also venturing into the realm of Freeform, showcasing how both of these EPM components provide actionable insights and creative problem-solving.

Essbase Focus: This segment of the track invites submissions that delve into Essbase with technical deep dives. It provides a platform to explore not only the intricate technical aspects but also the strategic role Essbase plays. Share how Essbase can be harnessed to provide valuable insights to your organization, highlighting its current applications and future potential.

Freeform: Historically, Freeform use-cases determined track placement. However, with the expanding adoption of Freeform modeling, all content related to Freeform should now find its home within the Essbase and Freeform track.

 

Netsuite EPM
We have a new Kscope25 Track! We want to learn all about NetSuite EPM at KScope! Submissions should focus on NetSuite EPM tips, tricks, lessons learned, functionality, unique use cases, success stories, unsuccess stories. We want to learn about all things NetSuite EPM so send us your best submissions!

 

APEX
ODTUG Kscope25 will continue to lead the pack by providing the best educational experience for Oracle APEX developers. We'll continue to ensure content is available for all skill levels - from beginners to the advanced APEX developer; there is something for everyone.

We will once again dedicate a portion of the track to APEX Core Components which highlights what "staying inside the box" has to offer and review best practices for beginners and experienced developers alike. We're also exploring more challenging issues that APEX developers face such as integration, extensions, lifecycle management, and security. We will continue to expand our content to include ORDS, REST, and the various APEX Server Infrastructures that are becoming increasingly popular. We also look forward to seeing what the Future of APEX looks like through your eyes; whether it be through combining APEX with new 23AI features, MLE, JavaScript in the database, or something only you can imagine!

 

Database Development
This track encapsulates all development topics, including database development tools and techniques; database engineering and data modeling; relational, NoSQL and specialty databases; Oracle Spatial solutions; Oracle Graph solutions, including both PGX and OPG property graphs; and tools and techniques for building and extending SaaS applications.

 

Cloud Engineering (NEW)
Sessions in this track will comprise relevant topics around enterprise infrastructure in a modern IT environment, including public clouds like OCI and Azure, and the related tools and techniques that an IT professional will need to manage and monitor that environment, including automation tools (e.g. Terraform) and change management tools. Topics related to building and maintaining all the key components of on-premises data centers - storage, networking, servers, virtualization - would also be found here.

 

Analytics
In today's data-driven culture, Analytics and Machine Learning are critical and necessary for companies to grow, innovate, and succeed in the current marketplace. This track will have every topic for Data loving professionals that converge at ODTUG Kscope25. The topics include (but not limited to):
