The theme for our time together is Are We There Yet, and how DO we get there? Enjoy lunch while participating in insightful guided discussions that will bring you closer to achieving your goals, and may even open your mind to new possibilities!

Some topics being covered include:
  • ACE-ing It: Getting into the Oracle ACE program
  • Stand & Deliver: Effective public speaking
  • Getting to YES: Putting your best foot forward during interviews and negotiating compensation packages
  • From Bystander to Leader: How to present your ideas and get co-workers and management to buy-in
  • Are We There Yet?: Planning and executing a career path
  • Networking Skills: Building your “village"
  • Building Your Brand: Using social tools for self promotion and thought leadership (LinkedIn/medium)

Neon Silent Disco
8:30 - 10:00 PM | Tennessee Ballroom

This year's Community Night brings all communities together for the first ever NEON SILENT DISCO! A silent disco, also known as a silent rave, headphone party, or silent party, is a dance party where people listen to music through wireless headphones instead of speakers. We'll have three DJs that are broadcast to the headphones on different channels. You can then choose their preferred channel by adjusting the settings on their headphones. Prepare to have a GLOWING good time!

Night Moves | Sunday, July 14 & Monday, July 15 - 10:30 p.m. til you can't play anymore

Are you ready to use your brain for fun? We've got the Night Moves!

Poker | Cheekwood D
The stakes are a high at the evening poker tournament. Come wager at a game of chance, or is it skill?

Werewolf | Cheekwood E
Werewolf has become a fun part of ODTUG Kscope's annual networking and connecting experience. This year we'll be hosting two nights of Werewolf. If you've never played this interactive party game of deduction and deceit, it's easy to learn. The best way to catch on is to show up and play!
Many attendees agree that playing Werewolf (even in lieu of sleep) is the most fun they have at ODTUG Kscope. Make sure you arrive at 10:30 p.m. Sunday night for the first game. All you need to bring is yourself! Whether you're looking for fun, connections, a break, or for no discernible reason at all. Just be sure to join us!

Community Service
During 9:50 AM and 3:10 PM Networking Breaks
Sponsored by Applied OLAP

This year, ODTUG has partnered with Boys and Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee for our community service project. Based in Nashville, TN, BGCMT is creating a new and brighter future for thousands of young people. BGCMT is a comprehensive youth service organization operating eleven Club locations in Davidson and Williamson counties. They help young people ages 5-18 to reach their full potential.

With the conference being much closer to the beginning of the school year, ODTUG Kscope attendees will be assembling school supply packets to ensure that the most vulnerable children in Nashville have the tools they need and can focus on getting the education they deserve.
