Volunteers

Oracle Developer & Technology User Group is a volunteer-driven organization and could not exist without the involvement of our member community and partners. There are a number of ways to volunteer, with varying levels of time commitment.

Why volunteer?

• Meet other Oracle users—networking up close and personal
• Give back to the Oracle community—you will be a significant contributor to the success of Oracle Developer & Technology User Group
• Improve your leadership skills—it may lead to a promotion and looks good on your resume
• Sharpen your technical knowledge—you work with experts; you will become an expert
• Volunteering and being an active member of a successful organization is fun, rewarding, and just plain feels good!

What are some of the volunteer roles?

ODTUG Members and partners can volunteer in one of the following areas. 

• Board — become an ODTUG Board Member, Sub-Committee Chair (Board-appointed but not a Board Member), or Sub-Committee Member
• Community — become an ODTUG Community Lead, help drive Social Media engagement, coordinate a Community Newsletter, and more!
• Kscope — support ODTUG's annual member conference by supporting attendee experience, partner, or session/speaker activities
• Leadership Program — act as a Liaison or a Coordinator
• WIT Program — help coordinate and/or participate Lunch & Learn and other WIT opportunities.
